frooms (short for free rooms) shows where to study at ETH: libraries and open study spaces with ETH's occupancy estimates, seminar rooms and lecture halls that are unbooked right now (and until when), and the mensas.
Occupancy is ETH's own estimate from people counting, shown in steps of 20 %. Only some spaces have it, and frooms shows it only while it's at most 15 minutes old. frooms keeps these readings to learn how full spaces usually are.

No accounts, no cookies. The site runs on Cloudflare, which sees visitors' IP addresses and counts visits anonymously. Your building and filter choices are stored only in your browser.
